Hi.
I've had my Soul for a few months, and 2 days ago when I started the radio, I got the message "Pairing failed". I've had my phone paired and working well with it ever since we got the car.
When I put the car in Pair mode and search for it on my phone, I do not see the car anymore - my phone cannot detect that the car is transmitting a Bluetooth signal (yes, the car does display its Bluetooth designation and code, so the radio at least "thinks" it is working). I also deleted my phone from the car, but that didn't help, either.
It is possible that my phone is going nuts - it's one of the less reliable Samsung Galaxy Fascinate phones - but with the OS I installed on the phone it has been fairly reliable.
Is this a known issue?
Is it more likely my phone than the radio?
Is there anything I can do myself to attempt to fix this?
Do I have to bring it into a service dealer, and would this be covered under warranty since the car is only a few months old?
Thanks!
